History and Story of Nosrati Brothers Rice Mill
Four Decades of Experience, Commitment to Quality, and the Fusion of Tradition and Technology in Producing Authentic Iranian Rice

Roots and Agricultural Heritage (1970s–1996)
Nosrati Brothers Rice Mill is more than just an industrial facility; it represents four decades of dedication, expertise, and passion for northern Iran’s agriculture. The Nosrati family has long been active in rice cultivation, relying on generational knowledge to grow the finest local varieties, including Tarom, Fajr, and Anbarbu.
In this era, rice milling resembled a small local workshop, operating with basic tools and limited equipment. The main goal was to preserve the aroma and quality of local rice. These workshops played a key role in village economies and maintained direct connections between farmers and consumers.
Transition from Tradition to Semi-Industrial (1990s–2000s)
As market demand and population grew, the Nosrati family expanded production while maintaining rice quality. During this period, the mill reached a semi-industrial level, using early dehusking and sorting machines while still emphasizing the preservation of rice aroma and authenticity.
Key steps in this transition included:
Increasing daily production capacity to 25–35 tons of paddy
Initial moisture control to reduce broken grains
Preserving authentic rice aroma with minimal grain damage
This stage laid the solid foundation for today’s modern factory.
Modern Era & Advanced Technology (2016–Present)
In recent years, the Nosrati Brothers Mill has undergone full modernization. The goal is not only to increase production capacity but also to enhance final product quality through state-of-the-art processing technologies.
Key Equipment:
Low-damage Dehuskers
Brown Rice Separators
Automatic Polishers & Whitener Machines
Optical/laser Sorting Machines with AI algorithms
Process Management & Quality Control:
Precise moisture and temperature control throughout processing
Optimized yield conversion from paddy to white rice (65–70%)
Reduced broken grain percentage while maintaining local and international quality standards
Commitment to Farmers and Consumers
Nosrati Brothers remain devoted to local farmers, providing guaranteed purchases at fair prices and ensuring high-quality raw materials enter the production line. At the same time, the final product retains the authentic aroma and taste of northern Iranian rice.
Vision and Current Position
Today, Nosrati Brothers Rice Mill is not only a rice producer but also a benchmark for rice processing in northern Iran. The factory bridges traditional agriculture with modern market needs, producing bulk, semi-weighted, and branded packaging while fully complying with HACCP hygiene standards.
